We ask that everyone make note of their allergies and/or dietary restrictions in their reservation notes during Step 2 of the booking process. Each allergy will be taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee accommodation for all dietary restrictions.

+ Are drinks included ?

Beverages will be available for purchase on site and are not included in the price of your dome reservation. You will be provided the drink menu from your server and can also purchase drinks from one of our two 18-ft bars. Please also note that since this is a POP-UP experience, there will be no complimentary water available. All beverages will need to be purchased (this includes alcoholic and non-alc**oholic beverages). Please ensure all guests have valid government issued photo ID to make alcoholic purchases.

+ How do I book a reservation?

+ I have booked a dome, how do I book meals for my guests?

Once you book your dome reservation you will be prompted to continue to Step 2 where you will book your dinner reservations. You will also receive a confirmation email, in this email, you will see a link for Step 2: Book Your Dinner. Click this link to start booking meals for your guest.


Please note: you MUST book your dinner reservations within 48 hours of your dome booking to avoid cancellation.

+ I Booked for the wrong date and/or time? How do I edit my reservation?

If you are looking to change the date and/or time of your reservation, please contact info@dinnerwithaview.ca with your new date & time and we will move your reservation over accordingly (given that space is available).

+ How long do I have to eat dinner in the dome?

Each reservation is given a strict limit of 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete their meals to ensure our team will have 15 minutes to prepare the dome for the next reservation. No exceptions will be granted.

+ What is the minimum amount of people the dome can accommodate?

Each dome can accommodate a minimum of four people.

+ What is the maximum amount of people the dome can accommodate?

Each dome can accommodate a maximum of six guests.

+ Can we attend if we are less than 4 people?

If you are looking to book for less than four people, it is required that you purchase a minimum of four meals. You will be able to take the additional meal(s) to go.

+ I have a large party, can we request to be near each other?

Yes. If you have a large group and have purchased multiple domes, please send us an email at info@dinnerwithaview.ca to request to be seated near each other the day of your reservation.

+ Can we sit in a dome without the purchase of a dinner ticket?

No. Only ticket holders will have access to partake in the Dinner With a View experience.

+ How do we add additional guests to our reservation?

If you are looking to add people to your reservation, you can do so by referring to the original dome confirmation email you received and clicking on Step 2 to book your meals. Here you will see the meals you already purchased as well as the option to add your additional guests.

+ What if I don’t purchase my dinner tickets within 48 hours?

If you do not complete your reservation by purchasing dinner for you and your guests within the 48 hour time window, your reservation will be cancelled and we will issue a partial refund for your dome. The processing feed will NOT be refunded.

+ Can I bring my pet?

No, pets are not permitted. However, service animals are accepted.


Food & Beverage

+ What do you mean by blind menu?

As part of our unique dining experience, we are offering a blind menu in which we cannot disclose any information in regard to the menu prior to your reservation date. The only information that can and will be disclosed is that the menu offered is three-courses (starter, dinner and dessert) and that the following will not be served: pork, nuts or shellfish.

+ How much do meals cost per person?

Each meal per guest is $99, plus tax and processing fees.

+ What meal options do you have available?

We have three meal options to choose from: meat, fish and veg/vegan (gluten-free option).

+ How many courses is the dinner?

We are offering a three-course dinner that includes a starter, main and dessert.

+ Is there a gluten-free option?

Yes. Of the three meal options we are offering, the veg/vegan meal is gluten free.

+ Do you offer any vegetarian/vegan options?

Yes we do. It is one of the three meal options we are offering.

+ Is there anything you can guarantee won’t be served?

We guarantee that no pork, shellfish or nuts will be served.

+ What allergy accommodations does the menu include?

We guarantee all our meals to be pork, nut and shellfish free. Additionally, we try our best to accommodate most common dietary restrictions if they were disclosed during the Step 2 of the online booking process (each allergy will be taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis, moreover depending on time delays experienced we may not be able to accommodate some or any allergies or dietary restrictions). We cannot guarantee accommodation for all dietary restrictions. Please inquire directly with your server for more information.

+ Is there a cut off date for choosing meals?

Once you book your dome reservation, you will have 48 hours to book meals for you and your guests. You are able to make changes to your meal preference up to 72 hours before your reservation date by sending an email to info@dinnerwithaview.ca

+ Can I switch my dinner preference?

Yes you can, please email us at info@dinnerwithaview.ca to change your meal options at least 72 hours before your reservation.

+ Are drinks included in the meal price?

+ What is the average a guest will spend on drinks at this dinner?

A rough estimate would be $15-$30.

+ Do you offer corkage?

No. We will not be accepting any external alcohol brought on site.

+ Are gratuities included?

No, gratuities are not included. A SUGGESTED gratuity amount will be presented on the final bill. Please keep in mind that the meal portion of the bill was pre-paid online without gratuity and therefore should be considered when leaving gratuity for the entire dinner experience. We encourage that the tip is left on credit as this is a cashless event. Please note, all gratuities will be distributed equally among all service staff.


Need to Know: Day of Reservation

+ What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to your reservation.

+ What do I do when I arrive?

Upon arrival, please proceed to our entrance area with all your guests (refer to attached map). The primary guest (individual who made the reservation) MUST provide valid government issued photo ID that matches the dome reservation. Please also present this email as it will contain your tickets for your reservation.

+ Do I need to arrive with my whole group together?

Yes, we strongly suggest that all guests in your reservation are present at the time of check-in.

+ Are guests permitted to join my reservation last minute?

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute guests as menu selections have been pre-arranged.

+ What should I wear? What is acceptable dress code?

There is no dress code, however, we strongly recommend that our guests dress according to outdoor weather conditions and in a business-casual style. Since this is an outdoor location and with varying terrain, we recommend close toe and uniform soles for ladies footwear (heels may be difficult to navigate on site).

+ What if I'm late?

Since Dinner With a View is a timed experience - we must adhere to our dinner service schedule. If you or your guests are late, the meals for your reservation will proceed to be served according to the strict timelines in accordance with the rest of the seated reservations to avoid any potential delays.

+ Does the original person who booked the reservation have to be present?

Yes, the original person who paid for the reservation has to be present. Primary guest (individual who made the reservation) MUST provide valid government issued photo ID that matches dome reservation.

+ Does the original credit card used for the reservation have to be present?

Yes, the original credit card that was used as the method of payment charged must be present for reservation verification purposes. If you have any questions about this please email us at info@dinnerwithaview.ca

+ Are the domes climate controlled?

The event will continue, rain or shine. The domes are weather protective, and equipped with a heater and blanket during cooler weather, and a cooling fan for warmer days. However, the Welcome Lounge is an outdoor space that is heated but it is not covered. In the event that rain is in the forecast, please bring an umbrella as they are not provided.

+ Is handicap accessibility available?

The Bentway is a multi-level venue and has limited accessible entry. Please note, our domes cannot fit wheelchairs or large accessible devices but we can try to accommodate other accessible requests. Additionally the washrooms on site have 2 small steps to enter. Please coordinate ahead of time by emailing us at info@dinnerwithaview.ca for any inquiries.

+ Do we need to bring our credit cards the night of our dinner reservation?

Yes, you will need a credit card day of. Although most items are prepaid (dome, meals and potentially beverages) there will be additional costs such as gratuity, which, you can pay at your discretion.

+ What can I expect while being in the dome in respect to dinner and timing?

Dinner courses will be served at specific times as we need to ensure we have as little delay as possible. Your server will maintain communication in regards to timing. You will also be able to order beverages from a beverage menu. Refer to menu attached. Most items on this menu will only be offered by the bottle only.

+ Are any convenience items in the domes complimentary?

None of the items in the domes are complimentary. Blankets, pillows, lights etc. are property of Dinner With A View. Staff will take inventory before and after your reservation and any items missing will be charged to the primary card that booked the reservation.

+ Could there be delays or wait times?

Delays will occur. We will try to limit them as much as possible but be prepared for a delay especially if you are the 7:30 or 9:30 seating. We have a heated welcome lounge where guests can purchase drinks while they wait.

+ Can our group split the bill?

Due to strict time limitations, we do not recommend splitting bills, however, we will allow the bill for beverages to be split a maximum of two ways.


Family-Friendly Related Questions

+ Is this dining experience family-friendly?

Yes children and young families are welcome.

+ Can the dome accommodate a stroller?

Yes, but are not permitted inside the dome due to space constraints.

+ Do you have highchairs?

Yes we have a limited amount of high chairs available on-site for families to use.

+ Do you have a kids menu?

No we are not offering a kids menu at this time. Our recommendation if you have children, is to share your meals with them, or to purchase a full adult meal for them.


Celebrations

+ We are celebrating a birthday/anniversary etc. can we bring in a cake?

Cakes are welcome but we do recommend sticking with the dessert option served. We can add sparklers to the birthday guests dessert as an alternative.

+ We are celebrating a birthday/anniversary etc. is it possible to add candles/sparklers to the special guests dessert?

Yes! We would love to. Please let us know via email at info@dinnerwithaview.ca that you would like sparklers for the birthday guest and we’ll make a note of it on your reservation.


Refunds & Cancellations

+ What is your refund policy?

Once Dinner Tickets have been purchased, tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE.

+ How can I cancel my reservation?

If you have only booked your dome reservation and require a refund, please allow 48 hours for your reservation to expire and a refund will be issued to you within 5-10 business days (ticketing/processing fees are NON-REFUNDABLE).

Added Fees

+ I was charged additional fees, what are these fees?

We charge a ticketing and processing fee for each transaction (the fee will increase/decrease depending on the number of guests in your reservation).

Please note: This fee is non-refundable if you choose to cancel your dome reservation.
